Autodesk® 360: Storage, Sharing and Viewing

I highly recommend Autodesk 360.
It gives me a lot of flexibility on working out of the office without remote desktoping, hence can manage my time being online on a wi-fi until I need to update my files on the cloud (Autodesk 360). And with an Autodesk subscription, you can have as much as 25 GB storage even though I heard a lot of people exceeding that limit way beyond and Autodesk 360 allows it.

Enjoy.

Revision Sequence in Revit

For some advance users, they create parameters and then schedules in order to manipulate the order or sequence of revisions shown in Titleblocks.

For Alphabetical Sequence there is an easier way to manage the Revision sequence. And that is editing the Alphabetical Sequence Options. We can now manually edit the letter sequence.

Inserting Text from PDF to Revit

Everybody knows that Revit does not allow PDF file to be inserted. But there is a nice workaround to insert PDF text into Revit.
And here it is:
Open PDF File in Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) or Bluebeam, then select the text, and copy ( Ctrl + C).
In Revit, select annotate, then text, then paste (Ctrl + V), note any raster in the PDF file cannot be selected while selecting text.
Pretty awesome work around.
Enjoy.
